Financial data is reported annually by  NCAA member schools in Division I and Division II and compiled to examine revenues and expenses at athletics departments throughout the NCAA.

The Finances of Intercollegiate Athletics materials, including trend reports (PDFs) and an interactive database, were updated in December 2025 with data from the 2023-24 fiscal year. 

The NCAA Membership Financial Database presents median revenue and expense data  over the past ten years, offering a comprehensive understanding of the finances of intercollegiate athletics. 

The database includes several tabs with filters by division and subdivision, including:

• Summary of 2023-24 revenue and expenses.
• Trends in revenue and expenses.
• Itemized breakdowns of athletics revenue and expense categories.
• Trends by major financial indicators.
• Athletics expenses compared with institutional expenses over time.
